Ashira Weinreich

Ashira is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow (NSF-GRFP), Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellow (FLAS), and a Community Engaged Scholar at Stanford's Haas Center for Public Service. She holds an MS in Community Health and Prevention Research from Stanford University (2026) and a BA in World Cultural Medicine from Cornell University (2024). She was a Fulbright Research Fellow in Nepal (2024-2025) and a Robert S. Harrison College Scholar (2020-2024). She conducts human-ecological research and has authored multiple research articles on resilience, adaptation to climatic and environmental variability, and health sovereignty.
