Ashira is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow (NSF-GRFP), completing her MS in Community Health and Prevention Research at Stanford University (2025 - June 2026) and a Community Engaged Scholar at Stanford's Haas Center for Public Service. She received her BA from Cornell University in World Cultural Medicine as a College Scholar (2024) and was a Fulbright Research Fellow in Nepal (2024-2025). She conducts human-ecological research and has authored multiple research articles on resilience, adaptation to climatic and environmental variability, and health sovereignty.
